Wild Bird
The brief included a logo that is to be used for digital and print media for Wild Bird: Wedding and Event Design that is a small start up local business to my area of the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Wild Bird offers a range of services from initial design concepts to the actual planning and styling of any wedding or event with credentials in floristry. The client's brief was to include a free flowing feather design that is to be printed in gold foil for business cards, aswell as the inclusion of possible hand lettering or a font that resembles this to create a natural logo that is nor structured or rigid. The logo itself plays on the 'wild' concept from the hand drawn feather to the hand lettering of 'Wild Bird' that is elegant yet untamed. The stroke of the feather was kept thin in order to avoid stiffness, and thus curls were added to create movement.
